In reply to: Nilla Fuller posted an update I finally finished The Scarlett Letter. It took me almost two weeks! I chose classics as my major to get away from my usual reading. The Scarlett Letter was the hardest for me to read […] View

I was just lurking your reading list, and you are so close to the goal. I am hoping to hit half way this month myself but cannot decide what to start next. I might start The Lost Gate By Orson Scott Card.

Out of all of them The Mating was my least favorite. They entire book I just wanted to shake Elise, however they get even better. She just released her fifth in the series, and it still seems she is working on more. I am glad you enjoyed, if you ever come upon any great free books let me know :).

    • I downloaded Mated by Nicky Charles the other day. I haven’t started it yet. I’ll let you know what I think when I’m done. I’ve never read her before but it sounds interesting.

    • So, I’m almost to the end of Mated. Great book! My only complaint is that Elise, being a lycan, should listen to her instincts more! It was so frustrating reading about her knowing there was something wrong, but not trusting herself enough to question it. Other than that, I thought the book was great. Thanks for the tip!

I’ve been bad this month I have read two books. I haven’t played a video game all year so I decided to pick up Fallout 3, 3 years later. So I have been living in the Video game world this month. Next month I need to power read as a much anticipated game comes out the following month.

I finished February 10/50 books only 4/50 movies :(. I was browsing Chapters website the other day, and came across some Neil Gaiman books I really want to read, as well as books by Andrzej Sapkowski(his books stemmed into the video game The Witcher). I also will be starting some sci-fi this month, so I will let you know how that goes. :)

I have about 20 books between my two reader apps, that I am just to excited to hold back. It just sometimes takes me a min to adjust as to what book I am reading lol.

I need to stop browsing the free book sections in ibooks! I have a long list of TBR’s on my iPod, trying to power read 3 at a time.

    • I also ready a lot of the free books. I can only read one at a time though, otherwise I get too confused on characters. Unless the stories are completely different. Like a historical romance, and then a contemporary vampire story or something.

  • Teen fiction can be just as good as adult fiction.

  • I love supernatural books, the darker the better.

I have not read much sci-fi, really the only sci-fi I have read is the Host by The twilight author. While horribly written, I loved the idea behind the book, […]

  • What do you recommend?

  • Nicky Charles 4 books free. Adult supernatural, highly recommended. Free on ibooks and I am sure their are other sources, as she chooses not to charge for her books.
