hello everyone!
I’m Samy, and i’m a fiftyfifty newbie! lol. My majors and minors are kind of all over the place, but i figured, with it being my first go-around, i should pick topics/authors that i knowi will enjoy so that i dont drag through the novels. Hopefully next years topics will be a bit more unique!
Dont know what all to put here, so i guess i’ll say a bit about myself. I’m 23 and a mother of two awesome mini humans! They are soon turning 3 & 4, so i’ve got my hands full! lol. (My kids are also participating in the challenge, no themes for them,just fun.) I am a bartender and an EMT, and will soon start a job as a dispatcher for 911. All of this combined is why i’m worried i wont finish the challenge, but i’m definitely going to try my hardest!
I have always had a passion for reading! I read Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis, and my first Stephen King book all when i was 8! The adventures of reading continued through to highschool, where i signed up for every english class possible. These days i dont get to read as often as i would like, but i still find time to do so.
My bookshelves have something from every genre, and i honestly havent found a single book that i havent liked!Hoping that we all have a great time with the challenge and that we get to meet awesome fellow literature enthusiasts
